Pro 10 colour Blush powder palette in pink, rose, peach & coral.

Hey Guy's,

Just a little post. About a cheeky little purchase I treated myself too recently.
It is this, little (not so little) beauty. Which is the, Pro 10 colour Blush powder palette in pink, rose, peach & coral. Which I purchased from Ebay. Link Here;

As it happen's I haven't always a big fan of blush. As I have always had, shall we say, rosy cheeks. So I have always swayed towards bronzers in general.
But recently I decided to give them another go. & I've been getting on really well with them. So I decided I wanted to expand my collection a little bit. & after checking out some of the drugstore palettes, at various prices, I really loved the look of the Sleek palette & the Boujouis pots. So I decided to take a gander online. & I found this,

what I think is a really similar dupe of the Sleek palette for half the price! Bargain!

I was a bit worried that the powder might not be very pigmented, when it came to application. But I am pleased to say, that I wrong in my assumptions. They all apply really nicely. I know some of them look a bit, on the bright side. But when applied lightly, they all look really nice and warming with my complexion. Defiantly the best purchase, I've made this month. One which I would highly recommend. Coming from Ebay, the delivery was free to the UK. Obviously chick if you want to order. & it arrived super quick, another thing I was slightly dubious about. All in all a pleasant Ebay experience.

The 30 Day Snap

Hey Guys,

How are we all doing, this week? It's Tuesday already, how times fly's!

I just wanted to let you know about a challenge I'm under taking for the whole of June, called The 30 Day Snap!
As you may or may not know, I am a huge fan of Sprinkle of Glitter, and this is a tag set up by her. & I thought it would be fun to join in. I have linked her blog below, for you to all check out. :]

The idea behind 'The 30 Day Snap' is to take one picture everyday, and upload it however you wish. I myself will be uploading of course on here and also through, the wonders of Instagram, which also happens to be linked to my Twitter & Facebook pages.
But you can upload to wherever you like. ;] The picture can document any part of your day, wherever you maybe.. work, home, school. (As long as you don't get caught by any teachers!)
Don't worry if you don't have a state-of-the-art camera. I always end up using my phone, as it is the camera I almost always have to hand! Also don't worry if there not perfect. (it's only fun, after all!) Your photo, can have a story behind it, feel free to add a caption or if you feel that it speaks for itself than leave it at that!

I think it would be awesome, if you would all like to join in, and give it ago with me. I did something pretty similar at the beginning of the year, on Instagram called the #JanuaryPhotoChallenge with my sister & we had a blast!
Just expanding our photographic skills & being a bit more creative.

I will be using the hashtag's #GlitterSnap & #30DaySnap.

I Believe in Good People

This picture comes from Pinterest

Hi Guy's & Girls,

Firstly, I'd like to say, where has all the time gone? It was Monday the other day, and now it's thursday! How did that happen?!  If someone  could tell me, what happen to Tuesday & Wednesday I'd be grateful!

This weeks blog post has been inspired by the good nature, of human of kind.
Weirdly enough, things like this always happen to me, when I am on the verge of giving up with 'people' and all of a sudden a gem of kindness, reminds me that we're not all that bad, after all.
I often find these wonderful sentiments come from the older generation. Often reminiscing about their partner.
A particular example, that practically melted my heart in two recently, was from an older gentleman. Talking about his, late wife. Saying about, what they would do on valentines day.
If valentines day, would happen to fall on a weekend he would always take her to the coast.
Or if it happened to be during the week, he would always send her flowers and a balloon.
Which just made me think, it's the thought that counts, it's so important to show / tell the one's you love, that you care about them.. Making them a cup of tea in the morning without being asked. Maybe..
Or even strangers, you pass in the street. When your having a bad day, & someone holds the door for you. Or lets you on the bus first. Or in my case, ask's me what item is it, on the top shelf that I can't reach. How much better it can make you feel. Just by being shown, that tiny bit of kindness.
And how it might, make someone else feel better. By saying thank-you to someone who hold's the door for you. Or giving someone a smile  as the walk by. Not the stalkery kind, of smile, the polite kind.
Hope you have a good week guys x

L'oreal Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Miracle Water

I don't know about you, but I've been hearing quit a lot, about miracle waters lately, Bioderma, in particular. And as it's not readerly available in the UK yet, I have been on the lookout for something, a little more on my doorstep, with an affordable price tag, to boot.
[In this economic climate & all that jazz. Plus, I alway's feel like I have won, a tiny victory, if I have got a product for half the price! I can buy this blusher and nail varnish too, type dealieo.]

So when I herd, about the new L'oreal Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Miracle Water. I jumped at the chance to give it a go.

A little bit about the product;
It is a high performance cleanser, for sensitive skin. It removes all traces of make- up, any excess oils and also clears pores.

All I can say is, I have been using it for about a week & a half, and I am in love with this product! All you have to do is apply, some to a cotton pad, morning & evening and wipe over your face.
I have combination skin, which can flair up, quiet dramatically to certain products. So I am always cautious when trying new unfamiliar products.
So I tend to stick to creamy / balm type face washes. As these tend to work best for me.
But this my friends, looks, feels & smells exactly like water. It leaves my skin feeling soft, clean, & refreshed after use, & doesn't seem to dry out parts of my skin either!
Now, onto the make-up removal. I must admit, I really hate taking off my make-up. Especially around my eyes/lids area. I hate having to feel like, I am pulling at my eyelashes or having the residue of a product left behind in my eye! Ouch!
But with the 3 in 1 miracle water, there isn't any of that. I just place 2 pads with the water on over my eyes, for all of 10 seconds, and voilĂ ! Traces of mascara & liquid eyeliner completely gone. With no panda eye smudging underneath either, result!

All in all, I would defiantly recommend this product, and with the miracle price tag of £4.99, who can say no to that? Not me, that's for sure!

Bank Holiday Picnic

Hey Guys,

Just a little post, too say I hope you all enjoyed a long weekend, and all got to enjoy some of the bank holiday, sunshine. ;)

I can't believe it's may already, I must admit may is one of my favourite months, and not just cause, it's my birthday!
Spring is in full bloom and is rolling towards summer, I get to enjoy more time in the the warmer weather, with the people I love, the most.
One of the things I like doing the most when the weather gets nicer, is going on picnic's. & now I have a car we can go a little further afield.

I know, a picnic sounds like something you do when your 5. But honestly I truly believe the picnic is underrated! I recommend you give it a whirl!

It's nice to get away, from things sometimes, and be able to have a proper catch up, without having strangers earwig, into your conversations as they so often seem too, in coffee shops. [Sighs]
When I say picnic, I'd like to clarify, I didn't have a basket complete with flask, or a gingham rug or anything, like that…

Instead, myself and my lil sis, decided to take, the more modern approach. And picked up some take-away sushi, tea included! and ventured to the nearest piece of greenery, to soak up some well welcomed rays.
I am a true believer in, sometime's the nicest things, to do, cost the least.
Here's some pictures, we took, [mainly of the yummy sushi]
Hope you enjoy!
Our little self portraits
Me in my big sunnies, hiding the lack of eye make-up

Bento box before we tucked in, I would well recommend it.

Halfway through our lunch, when I noticed we had placed our chop-sticks the same.

Tea for 2, yum :)

Hair Care Routine & Tips On How To Beat Split Ends

Hello Ladies & Gents,

So I thought it was time to do a blog on my current hair care, as in the near future I want to review a couple of new products. This month I am on a quest for perfect hair! & I'm going to give it my best shot! I will link all the products down below.

I have mid-long hair, which I am trying to grow. I am blonde, I have been blonde for about 2 years. I have my hair cut & coloured every 12 weeks-ish. I have thick but fine hair, which gets knotty if left un-brushed for half a day. My hair has a natural wave to it, which I find is the bane of my life! I think that just, about covers everything.

                                                                   Shampoo & Conditioning;

I tend to wash my hair 3-4 times a week, as I have read it's better for you As it doesn't strip you're hair of it natural oils..
Also because I find my hair is quite dry from the dye at the ends, and I've read over washing it can dry it out even more.
 I use 2-3 sets of shampoo & conditioner. I use Paul Mitchell Super Strong, and a more budget friendly shampoo & conditionerHerbal Essences Beautiful End's.
I also use a boots almond and coconut hair mask, which I use once a week,  I leave it in for about 20 mins or so.
When conditioning I make sure to condition from the ears down all the way down to the ends. I always make sure to run a wide toothed comb my hair, after apply conditioner. When I rinse the conditioner out of my hair, I always try to use, luke warm/cool water.

                          Hair Care Products;

After I towel dry my hair, I apply a leave in conditioner, at the moment I am using the Charles Worthington hair care, which also acts as a hair protectant.
 I apply a pea-sized amount in between my hands & run them throw my hair. I then comb it through.
I also Paul Mitchell Super strong liquid treatment which I spray throughout the mid - ends of my hair, & give a final comb through.

                                    Drying & Styling;

I try to let my hair air-dry naturally, & not to blow dry it.
 Just to try and prevent any extra heat damage.
 But I do use hot tools, straightening / curling irons.
So before styling I always use a heat protectant. At the moment, I'm using Schwarzkopf Got2b Guardian Angel. It works for me as a hair protectant.

                                        Hot Tools;

I use Remington CI9532 Pearl Pro Curl, curling wand.
Which is one of the nicest curling irons I've used, it give nice loose curls/waves & for  £26, was money well spent.
For straightening I use GHD straighteners. I have the Pink Orchid limited edition set. Both products claim, to be better for hair.
As both products, have a protective coating on the irons, claiming to reduce hair damage.

 Hair Care Tips;

A major tip, that I have picked up, from Youtube and countless blogs, which has really worked for me, is trimming my own split ends.
 Using a pair of hair dressing scissors (You can pick them up, anywhere for next to nothing from, boots/ superdrug/ online.) Every so often, when you see a split end, take the scissors, and just nip off the split end.
 Just be careful not to go overboard. As you can change the shape of you're hair!
By doing this, it keep's you're hair looking healthy and makes it so you don't have to go and get a trim as regularly.
Disclaimer; Do NOT if you are 16 years old.

That's it for my hair care routine. Let me know what you think, & if you have any tips, or tricks for growing you're hair, or keeping coloured hair feeling soft.
